How to Work Together

Rather than booking individual treatments, sessions are thoughtfully customized based on your needs. Each visit may include one or more therapies to support deeper healing and integration.

Therapies Used in Your Personalized Session

Each session draws from a range of traditional Ayurvedic therapies, selected in real time to meet your body where it is.

Abhyanga

A deeply grounding and nourishing full-body oil therapy using warm, herbal-infused oils selected specifically for your constitution and current state.

Long, rhythmic strokes and intentional touch help to calm the nervous system, support healthy circulation, and guide the body into a parasympathetic state where true healing can occur. The oils penetrate deeply into the tissues, helping to loosen accumulated toxins, reduce dryness, and restore a sense of steadiness and cohesion throughout the body.

Abhyanga is often used as a foundational therapy within sessions, preparing the body for deeper treatments while offering a profound sense of warmth, containment, and restoration.

Shirodhara

A continuous, steady stream of warm oil gently poured across the forehead and scalp, designed to quiet mental activity and soothe the entire nervous system.

As the oil flows in a rhythmic pattern over the third eye, the mind begins to soften, thought patterns slow, and the body drops into a deeply meditative state. This therapy is particularly supportive for stress, anxiety, sleep disturbances, hormonal imbalance, and nervous system dysregulation.

Shirodhara invites a profound sense of stillness—often described as a reset for both mind and body.

Udvartana

An invigorating and stimulating therapy using herbal powders or pastes applied to the body to awaken circulation and move stagnation.

Working against the direction of hair growth, this treatment creates friction and heat within the tissues, helping to break up ama (toxins), reduce heaviness, and support healthy lymphatic flow. It is especially beneficial for balancing kapha, improving skin tone, and bringing lightness and clarity to the body.

Udvartana leaves you feeling energized, uplifted, and more connected to your physical body.

Garshana

A dry, friction-based therapy performed using raw silk gloves to gently stimulate the skin and underlying tissues.

This practice increases circulation, supports lymphatic movement, and encourages the release of stagnant energy within the body. It is often used as a preparatory therapy before the application of oils, helping the body become more receptive to deeper nourishment.

Garshana creates a subtle awakening effect—both energizing and clarifying—while supporting detoxification and overall vitality.

Pinda Swedhana

A deeply therapeutic and rhythmic treatment using warm herbal boluses filled with medicinal herbs, rice, or other nourishing substances.

These boluses are dipped in warm liquids and applied to the body in a continuous, flowing sequence. As heat and herbal properties penetrate the tissues, the body begins to soften, tension releases, and areas of pain or inflammation are gently addressed.

Pinda Swedhana is especially supportive for joint pain, stiffness, nervous system depletion, and recovery states. It offers both nourishment and therapeutic heat, creating a deeply comforting and restorative experience.

Swedhana (Herbal Steam Therapy)

A gentle, full-body herbal steam that encourages the body to release toxins through the skin while softening and opening the channels.

Typically offered after oil-based therapies, swedhana enhances absorption and supports the movement of loosened impurities out of the body. The warmth helps to relieve stiffness, reduce heaviness, and bring a sense of lightness and ease.

This therapy is subtle yet powerful—supporting detoxification while maintaining a sense of calm and containment.

Select therapies are also available as 4-handed treatments for a more intensive experience.

Targeted Therapies

Kati Basti

A focused oil therapy applied to the lower back using a reservoir of warm herbal oil held in place over the body.

The sustained warmth and saturation allow the oil to penetrate deeply into the tissues, helping to relieve pain, reduce stiffness, and strengthen the surrounding structures. This therapy is especially beneficial for lower back discomfort, sacral instability, and nervous system tension held in the spine.

Pichu

A localized treatment using cloth soaked in warm herbal oil, applied to a specific area of the body for an extended period of time.

This allows for deep, targeted absorption of the oil into the tissues, making it especially effective for areas experiencing pain, dryness, or depletion. Pichu can be used on the spine, joints, neck, or other areas needing focused support.

Netra Tarpana

A rejuvenating eye therapy in which medicated ghee is gently pooled around the eyes within a sealed boundary.

This treatment deeply nourishes and lubricates the eyes, helping to reduce dryness, strain, and fatigue. It is especially supportive in our modern world of screen exposure, offering both physical relief and a deeply calming sensory experience.

Karna Purana

A grounding therapy in which warm oil is gently introduced into the ear canal and surrounding area.

This practice supports the nervous system, reduces dryness, and can help relieve tension in the head, neck, and jaw. It offers a deeply calming and stabilizing effect, particularly for vata imbalances.

Nasya

A nasal therapy involving the application of herbal oils or medicated substances into the nasal passages.

Nasya helps to clear excess congestion, support respiratory health, and bring clarity to the mind. It also nourishes the tissues of the head and neck, making it beneficial for sinus issues, headaches, and mental fog.

Subtle & Energetic Therapies

Marma Therapy (Facial + Spinal)

A deeply subtle yet powerful therapy working with the body’s vital energy points, known as marma points.

Through gentle, intentional touch, these points are activated to support the flow of prana (life force) throughout the body. Marma therapy can be profoundly calming to the nervous system while also supporting emotional release and energetic balance.

Facial marma helps release tension held in the face and jaw, while spinal marma works along the central channel to support alignment, grounding, and energetic flow.

This therapy often meets the body on a deeper level—where physical, emotional, and energetic layers intersect.
