Ancient Rhythms
Where Ayurveda + Traditional Chinese Medicine Meet
A nourishing five-day seasonal reset guided by two practitioners to help you move from late summer into autumn.
September 19–23, 2026
Don't Carry Summer Into Autumn.
What we accumulate in one season doesn't simply disappear when the next one begins.
The heat, activity, travel, late nights, irregular meals, full schedules—by the end of summer, you may be feeling it.
Imagine entering autumn with steadier energy.
Meals that leave you feeling nourished instead of heavy.
Calmer digestion and less bloating.
Sleeping more deeply.
Feeling grounded instead of scattered.
And having a few simple practices you understand and can return to throughout the season.
Both Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine recognize seasonal transitions as an important time to pause, adjust how we eat and care for ourselves, and prepare the body for what's coming next.
Ancient Rhythms is an invitation to do exactly that.
For five days, we'll simplify, nourish, and create space for the transition—with two practitioners guiding you every step of the way.
Two Practitioners. Two Ancient Traditions.
One Seasonal Reset.
Ancient Rhythms brings together Katie Reinman and Lyndsey Madden and the complementary wisdom of Ayurveda + Traditional Chinese Medicine.
After registering, you'll complete one shared intake that we'll review together, giving us a fuller picture of your constitution, current health, lifestyle, and what you're hoping to receive from the experience.
From there, we'll guide you through your reset with nourishing food, seasonal education, simple daily practices, and personalized recommendations when appropriate.
This isn't a cleanse you're left to figure out on your own.
You'll have two practitioners walking alongside you from preparation through integration.
Nourishment, Not Deprivation
This is not a juice cleanse.
There is no fasting or pushing through hunger.
You'll eat warm, simple, seasonal meals designed to nourish while giving digestion a little less work to do.
Alongside food, we'll incorporate supportive teas and herbs, simple daily rituals, intentional rest, and practices drawn from Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine.
You don't need any previous experience with either tradition.
And you don't need to do everything perfectly.
What Am I Committing To?
Ancient Rhythms is designed to fit into real life.
You do not need to take five days off work, but we do encourage you to make your schedule a little lighter where possible.
PREPARE
Before September 19
Complete your personalized intake and receive your handbook, shopping list, recipes, CCF tea, and preparation guidance approximately two weeks before we begin.
RESET
September 19–23
Prepare simple meals at home, follow your daily practices, and receive guidance and support from Katie + Lyndsey throughout the five days.
Leave a little extra room for cooking, earlier nights, less stimulation, and rest when you can.
INTEGRATE
After September 23
We'll guide you in gradually expanding your diet and carrying the foods, rhythms, and practices that felt supportive into autumn.
You can work. You can parent. You can live your life.

A Few Things You May Be Wondering
Is this Panchakarma?
1
No. Ancient Rhythms is rooted in principles found within Panchakarma and seasonal Ayurvedic care, but it is not traditional Panchakarma.
We've drawn from principles such as simplifying the diet, supporting digestion, creating space for rest, incorporating daily rituals, and intentionally transitioning with the seasons—and adapted them into a nourishing experience designed for modern life.
Can I do this if I don't live in Ojai?
2
Yes. Nourish can be completed from anywhere.
Restore includes an in-person collaborative treatment, currently offered in Ojai. We may also offer a day of Restore treatments in Los Angeles based on interest. If LA would make Restore more accessible for you, please reach out and let us know.
What if I have dietary restrictions or health considerations?
3
Your shared intake allows Katie and Lyndsey to review your individual needs before the reset begins.
If you have significant dietary restrictions, a medical condition, or take prescription medication, please reach out before registering if you're unsure whether Ancient Rhythms is appropriate for you.
Ancient Rhythms is not appropriate during pregnancy.
This program is intended to support general wellness and is not a substitute for medical care.
What happens when I sign up?
4
You'll receive your shared intake first.
Approximately two weeks before we begin, you'll receive your handbook, recipes, shopping list, preparation guidance, and everything you need to begin feeling prepared.
